October 2021
The Bowls Club and Sports Centre no longer require any Covid related measures to be taken. We ask you to respect members who still wish to wear masks.
The sanitisation of mats, jacks, etc. is taking place daily by office staff and sanitisers are available at the end of each rink.
November 2023
As we are all aware, a new strain of COVID is on the increase.
We appreciate that you are very keen to play bowls but for the safety of our members, it is paramount that if you are unfortunate to be suffering with COVID, we request that you stay away from the Bowls Club, until you are tested completely clear.
January 2024
Fire Alarm Procedure
In the event of the fire alarm sounding, members must make there way out of the bowls hall via the emergency exit at the windows end of the hall if it is safe to do so and assemble in the area between the car park and Leisure Centre entrance. Members must not re enter the building until a Leisure Centre staff member says it is safe to do so.
